Current Works

The works being carried out are:

1. North capping beam
2. Paul O’Gorman Building underpinning
3. Temporary gantry construction
4. Basement excavation – this is a bulk dig which will last approximately for 13wk
5. Start Installation of basement props – these are temporary supports to brace excavation and structures whilst building the basement

All the above works are considered noisy works – we appreciate your patience during this period.

From WC 22/06/2026, site vehicle attendance will begin at 07:30 – 08:00 during the period for the basement excavation.

No works permitted before 08:00.

07:30 – 08:00 only to facilitate vehicles access in the pitlane to avoid creating wider highway congestion.

Environmental

To reduce our environmental impact to the local community we are using acoustic noise barriers / water cannons for damping down dust and all combustible engine plant onsite is powered by HVO fuel.

Non-hazardous construction material is continuing to be taken away, and our target of 95% recycling has been exceeded and sits at 98%.
